SS23 Handbags at Louis Vuitton
Spring/Summer ’23 is almost upon us, and of course that means new handbags for the season from our favourite Luxury Fashion Houses. Louis Vuitton has certainly been in the spotlight for SS23 in the ‘handbag world’, for their latest collection of XL handbags, fresh prints and new models…
Goodbye Mini Bags, Hello GIANT Bags!
Towards the end of 2022 Louis Vuitton showcased some extremely large handbags on their runway, that were inspired by features of historic Louis Vuitton L
uggage. We saw an ‘XL Key Bell’, a ‘Name Tag XL Clutch’, an ’S-Lock XL Bag’ and even a ‘Pochette Clés XL’! Thankfully the handbags that actually made it to the stores are smaller than what was seen on the runway, with the XL Key Pouch as the exception.

Tilsitt Bag
Louis Vuitton has introduced the Tilsitt Bag for Spring/Summer 2023, and it’s the perfect city bag made in beautiful Reverse Monogram Canvas. The Tilsitt has an instantly recognisable geometric curved shape, and is actually inspired by a House model from 1988.

A Mix of Little & Large
We are all familiar with the Louis Vuitton Twist Range, but for SS23 LV has introduced a super cute Twist Mini Bag, but with a signature giant Twist-lock feature! Nicolas Ghesquière has played with scale here, to reinvent one of the House’s emblematic bags.

New Nanogram!
Not only are we seeing new models from LV this SS23, but they are also treating us to a whole new print! The ‘Nanogram’ print is a nano version of the iconic Louis Vuitton Monogram, and can be seen on The Loop Bag, Speedy 20, Petite Malle, Dauphine MM and the new Monogram Clutch.
