How to convert the Le Pliage Pouch into a crossbody

We are all familiar with the Longchamp Le Pliage range. ‘Le Pliage’ translates to ‘the folding’ in French, and the inspiration behind the collection originates from the Japanese art of paper folding. The ingenious combination of nylon & leather allows the Le Pliage Tote to be easily folded into a compact pocket book size, meaning the bag can be easily stored or packed away for travel.

Carry. Fold. Store‘ – Longchamp

The Le Pliage Tote is now a worldwide recognised handbag, and is considered an ‘it girl‘ wardrobe staple due to it’s minimal design, affordability & practicality. Longchamp have added to their Le Pliage range over the years, adapting the original model with new sizes, colours, patterns & materials. The Longchamp Le Pliage Green Range is now a close second in popularity to the Le Pliage Original, followed closely by the ‘Energy’ range & ‘City’ range.

Now a viral trend across social media, the Longchamp Le Pliage Original Pouch is proving extremely popular amongst handbag lovers worldwide. Whilst XL / Maxi bags dominated the luxury world for a short while, it looks like Mini Bags are still strong favourites and are certainly here to stay.

Whilst in keeping with the ‘Mini Bag’ trend, the Longchamp Le Pliage Pouch is also minimal yet stylish, super cute and, like most Le Pliage bags, affordable. Priced at just £70, the Le Pliage Pouch is one of the very few designer bags under £100; this is one of the reasons why the Pouch is constantly sold out both in store and online.

On top of it’s affordability, customers are also converting this bag into the perfect Longchamp crossbody bag by attaching a long strap – another reason why it’s so sought after. Whilst it’s petite size is truly adorable, the top handle limits the ways you can style this bag and can also be slightly impractical.
