From a partnership of a cabinetmaker & metalworker to designing the finest travel trunks for the Emperor Napoleon himself. Louis Moreau and Martin Biennais created huge success in trunk making in 1805, at the time where people were beginning to travel to further horizons, shortly after the Emperor ordered a trunk for the Chan-celor Cambaceres.
In 1882 the first Moreau Paris store opened it’s doors during the ‘Golden Age’ of travelling, at the Faubourg Saint Honoré. The first Moreau store mainly showcased the Maison’s trunks with their iconic monogram design, and in the present day this design has been implemented to more modern fashion accessories along with Parisian elegance.
