Perfect for my Uptown clutch. Limits capacity slightly, but absolutely worth it. It’s like having two different bags, turning this more reasonablly priced luxury bag into a super versatile piece. The chain is robust but very light, which was my only reservation until I actually received and used it. When I open the bag to take something out, the insert stays snuggly in place, so crossbody use is seamless. Perfect.
